The Chief State Solicitors Office
The Chief State Solicitor Office acts as solicitor to the Irish Government. Its principal functions is to advise the Irish Government in matters of law and legal opinion and to provide the State with both drafting and litigation services.
When equipping their new headquaters building in Dublin the Chief State Solicitors Office appointed Storage Systems Ltd to provide an efficient safe storage solution for storing all their legal documentation. Storage Systems Ltd installed 7 blocks of Compactus Office Electro Mobile Shelving on 3 different floors. Each block comprises of 30 bays of shelving designed to store lateral suspension files and legal documents. As the appearance of the system was very important to the client, all units were fitted with white glass decorative panels on the front and rear end of all bases. These blend perfectly with the building décor.

To ensure operator safety the Compactus Office Electro System is equipped with a motor current monitoring system (MCMS). This system monitors the electrical current being utilized by the motor and can detect a minute change caused by pressure against a moving mobile. When a change in current is detected by the MCMS, due to an obstruction in an aisle, the movement of the mobile base is automatically stopped and the base will reverse a short distance.
Overall the client is delighted with the final solution, which provides a modern, efficient and safe storage solution which blends in perfectly with the office décor.
