Service with a file for McCann Fitzgerald

McCann Fitzgerald is one of Ireland's largest law firms with over 200 staff. Due to continued expansion the firm recently relocated to a new headquarters building in Dublin’s Dockland.

When equipping their new headquarters McCann Fitzgerald appointed Storage Systems Ltd to provide an efficient safe storage solution for their legal documentation and files.

In total over 450 bays of Compactus® Power³ Mobile Shelving was installed on 6 floors throughout the new building. Due to the nature and confidentiality of the documents which are stored in the system it is important that access to certain files is restricted to certain staff members only.

To achieve this each mobile block is equipped with Compactus PC link software which enables each individual aisle to be programmed by an external PC so that access is only possible by operators with an electronic swipe key.

Each operator has their own individual swipe key which is programmed to only allow access to aisles which they are permitted to use.
