Storage Systems awarded €2 Million Contract by Bulmers for Warehouse Racking

Bulmers Ireland Ltd is located in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and is the only cider producer in Ireland. Bulmers Cider has been the fastest growing drinks brand in Ireland since the mid-1990’s and as a result the Bulmers pint bottle is now the largest selling bottled beer or cider in Ireland. Interestingly as a result of this growth, per capita consumption of cider in Ireland is now the highest in the world.

Due to this success, Bulmers recently opened a new production bottle plant warehouse in Clonmel. Storage Systems Ltd won a €2 million contract to design and install all the racking systems for the new warehouse.

Working closely with Bulmers, Storage Systems Ltd designed and installed a comprehensive storage system comprising of Redirack Pallet Live Storage Racking & Redirack Push Back Racking. Both systems are 10m high and the total storage capacity is over 6,000 pallets.
