Racking Fitout for Frank McGowan New Distribution Warehouse

Frank McGowan Ltd is one of Ireland's leading Furniture retailer of quality carpets, flooring, furniture, bedding and curtains. Recently, Frank McGowan Ltd moved to a new state of the art distribution centre in Lusk, North County Dublin. Storage Systems Ltd was awarded a major contract to design a storage solution for the new Distribution Centre.

Working closely with Frank McGowan Ltd., Storage Systems Ltd designed and installed over 500 bays of P-90 Narrow Aisle Racking for storing furniture, bedding and curtains. While specially designed P-90 Carpet Racking was installed for storing carpets and flooring products.

Both systems are 12m high and are serviced by narrow-aisle and conventional forklift trucks. Overall, Frank McGowan Ltd was very satisfied with the solution provided as it dramatically increased storage capacity and increased picking speeds.
