Mobile Shelving Fitout for Cadbury's

Cadbury’s is a leading global confectionery company with an outstanding portfolio of chocolate, gum and candy brands. Its Irish manufacturing operation is located in Coolock on the northside of Dublin. Recently, Cadbury’s needed to reduce the floor space occupied by the Engineering Store in order to increase the size of the production area.

Cadburys turned to Storage Systems Ltd to provide a safe, efficient and cost effective modern storage solution which would provide the same storage capacity as the original store but utilising 50% less floor space.

The solution was to provide an Two Tier Compactus Electro® Mobile Shelving System with shelving on ground floor and first floor level. The first floor Compactus Electro® Mobile Shelving is situated on a structural steel floor directly above ground floor shelving. This solution provides in total 250 bays of Shelving 2.3m high x 1m wide with varying shelf depths to suit engineering small parts.

The installation was complete with blue steel decorative panels which blended in to the overall store environment. Speed of delivery was very important on this project and the entire project was manufactured and installed with a 6 week period from date of order. Overall Cadbury’s were very satisfied with the storage solution provided by Storage Systems Ltd.
