Library Shelving Fitout for Carrigaline Library Cork

Storage Systems Ltd has recently completed the library shelving fit-out for the New Public Library at Carrigaline in Cork.

In total, 160 bays of Technic Steel Cantilever Library Shelving were installed in various sizes to suit books periodicals been stored. In the adult section, the shelving bays are 1800mm high x 900mm wide fitted with 4 flat shelves, 1 tilted display shelf plus a top canopy.

In the children’s section, the shelving bays are 1200mm high x 900mm wide fitted with 3 flat shelves, 1 tilted display shelf plus a top canopy. All bays installed in the children’s section were fitted with castors with lockable brakes.

Slatted & Plain Maple Decorative Panels were installed at the ends of each row of shelving to match the library furniture.
