Mobile Shelving fitout for Thurles Library Tipperary

Storage Systems Ltd has recently completed a large installation of Compactus Mobile Shelving at the Thurles Library in Co. Tipperary.

The installation comprises over 400 bays of Compactus Mobile Shelving 2.8m high with 8 shelf levels ranging in depth from 200mm and 250mm. Mobile bases are upto 8m long and are equipped with special reduction gears to ensure that as many as 7 mobile bases can be moved at the same time with the operation of one hand crank.

To ensure operator safety all mobile bases are equipped with a push button safety aisle locks, which when pressed by an operator will prevent the movement of the bases while an operator is in an aisle.

Overall, Thurles library are delighted with the installation of Compactus Mobile Shelving.
